New Integrated Health Facility was Announced in the 2023 Budget

We are excited that a new Esterhazy Integrated Health Facility was announced in the 2023 Budget. The Government is dedicating $250,000 for ‘Project Planning’ for this new facility. We are extremely grateful to see this project commitment, as this has been a long-time community goal.

Rural Health Minister Hindley and our MLA Warren Kaeding met with the Mayor, Administration and Community Members to deliver this news in person.

The hospital and care home in Esterhazy is the major hub of essential health-care services for our area. This commitment from the Government ensures that the delivery of health care in our region will be the best for many years ahead. We are looking forward to the next steps of collaborative discussions with health officials, the community, and St. Anthony’s Health Foundation; As investments in our healthcare facilities, are investments into our communities.

All public health care facilities in Esterhazy are amalgamated under the Sunrise Health District, including a 21 bed hospital, a public health office, mental health services, a home care program, physiotherapy, and a care home.
