Garbage is collected by Loraas Disposal on a weekly basis. However, in the months from November to May, garbage will be collected every second week.
Grey bins are provided to each residential address which can be filled with refuse. To ensure your garbage is picked up please ensure you are doing the following:
- Place grey bin 3 feet away from the curb and any other surrounding obstructions (this includes snow banks).
- Place the cart roadside by 7:00 am on collection day to ensure it is emptied.
- Do not pack waste too tightly or put too much refuse in your bin that the lid does not close.
- Refer to the pamphlet as to what can and cannot be disposed of in the grey bins.
