Esterhazy Housing Authority

The Esterhazy Housing Authority (EHA) manages 118 family and senior housing units in the Town of Esterhazy. Family units include duplexes, bungalows, and row houses, and senior units include apartments and duplexes.

These affordable government-owned units provide safe and secure housing to individuals and families in our community.

Rent is based on before-tax income, and preference is given to those with low to moderate incomes. Seniors and families with dependents are given priority for available units.

Individuals must be able to live independently. This independence may include support from family, the community, or other agencies.

The Esterhazy Housing Authority accepts applications for housing on an ongoing basis. The application process establishes an applicant’s eligibility and housing needs. Households are placed in units according to need and availability of units.

Everyone benefits from affordable housing. Secure housing contributes to social and emotional health and helps people contribute to the economic well-being of the community.

The Esterhazy Housing Authority is regulated by policies and guidelines established by Saskatchewan Housing Corporation and is governed by a local board of directors and the Office of Residential Tenancies.
